Outstanding Middle Level Administrator Award



Who is eligible to receive the award?

This award may be presented to any full-time North Carolina middle level building administrator.

Who can nominate?

Though nominations will typically come from the Association membership, any individual may nominate someone for this award.

 

What are the criteria?

The award should be presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding performance in the following areas:

     1.  Contributions to the middle level program in his/her school

            2.  Effectiveness as a member of the administrative staff

            3.  Utilization & support of middle school best practices

            4.  Innovative projects and impact on the school

            5.  Communication with the educational environment

  

What are the application requirements?

The application consists of the Online Nomination Form and Narrative, and TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION.
The two letters of recommendation must be received no later than
November 30th.

Who will decide the recipient of this award?

The Regional Awards Committee.

 

When will the award be announced?

One outstanding Middle Level Administrator from each of the eight NCMSA regions will be recognized at a general session of the NCMSA Annual Conference.  Winners will receive a complementary conference registration.
