This award may be presented to any individual, school or organization.
Who can nominate?
Though nominations will typically come from the Association membership, any individual may nominate someone for this award.
What are the criteria?
The award should be presented to an individual, school, or organization who /that has had a significant long-term impact on the advancement of middle level education in a local school district, Region 6, and/or North Carolina.
What are the application requirements?
The application consists of the nomination data form below and two letters of recommendation addressing the strengths and contributions of the nominee. The nomination data form must be submitted and letters received by the November 30th deadline. Please have nomination letters mailed to:

Who will decide the recipient of this award?
The Region 6 Awards Committee will select the recipient from nominations received this year. The presentation of this award is at the discretion of the Region 6 Advisory Council.
When will the award be announced?
The award will be presented during the Region 6 meeting at the annual state conference in March.
