- The purpose of the NCMSA Regional Grant
is to promote and support excellence in teaching and learning.
Grants will be awarded to support innovative proposals that focus
on academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, or social
equity.

- GUIDELINES:
- 1. Grants of up to $400.00 will be awarded.

- 2. Application must include the following:
a. Statement of need
b. Description of Project (limit to one page)
c. Set of objectives
d. Activities (for students and/or teachers)
e. Procedures for evaluation
f. Budget for expenditures

- 3. Proposals must be submitted electronically.

- 4. Judging will be based on the following:
a. Need based on an area for student/team/school improvement
b. Clear description of project with supporting data
c. Number of students impacted by project
d. Number of teachers directly involved
e. Measurable objectives
f. Impact on school climate/accountability

- 5. Receipts for expenditures may be required
for disbursement of funds.

- 6. Selection of recipients will be made by mid-January.

is November 30th
