Welcome to the North Carolina Middle School Association (NCMSA) web site. We are a statewide organization devoted for three decades to promoting the very best educational programs and services for young adolescents. Our goals are to accelerate the rate of middle grades reform in our state in order to provide an education for each child that is academically excellent, meets his or her needs, and is socially equitable. To meet these goals, we share information among middle level schools, serve as an advocacy group for middle level education, support and conduct research studies, provide relevant resource materials, sponsor state and regional conferences, and offer professional development activities.
